WYSE 50

hold down SHIFT-SETUP to enter setup mode.

hit ESC for default values

highlight and hit spacebar to set Handshake = DTR

arrow down, and arrow right three times to Modem Baud Rate

highlight and hit spacebar to set baud= either 38400 or 19200

hit CAPS LOCK

again, hold down SHIFT-SETUP; hit Y for yes

hold down SHIFT SETUP

hit ENTER for default values

select F2-GENERAL

highlight with arrow keys and hit spacebar so that

• PERSONALITY = WYSE50+
• ENHANCE =OFF

select F4-COMM

highlight with arrow keys and hit spacebar so that

• MDM RC HSK= DTR
• AUX RC HSK = DSR

select F5-PORTS

highlight with arrow keys and hit spacebar so that

• MDM BAUD= either 38400 or 19200

select F12-Exit

hit CAPS LOCK, then use spacebar to change SAVE? to Yes

hit F12 to exit and save.

WYSE 60

hold down SHIFT-SETUP

arrow to DEFAULT ALL then hit SHIFT-SETUP again for defaults

select F2-GENERAL

highlight with arrow keys and hit spacebar so that

• PERSONALITY = WYSE50+
• ENHANCE = OFF

select F4-COMM

highlight with arrow keys and hit spacebar so that

• BAUD RATE 38400 or 19200 and
• RCV HANDSHAKE= DTR
• AUX=DSR

hit F10-Exit

press CAPS LOCK, then arrow to highlight SAVE ALL.

hit F10-Exit

TO "REBOOT" any of the Wyse terminals, with the terminal off, hold down the "G" key and turn on the terminal.
